Technical Details
Your kilt combines hand-stitching and machine stitching for the best possible results, though if you prefer the slight uneven character full hand-stitching is available as an option. For a perfect hang, we fit two sturdy leather straps and buckles on the waist, and one on the hip. The front edge has two fringes in the authentic tradition (see image right) and we add two belt loops at the back so it all stays neat. We normally pleat 'to sett' which most kilt wearers prefer, but just ask for pleats to stripe or to horizontal at no extra charge! Or we offer military box pleats for a 50 pound surcharge.

Purchased as part of a full kilt outfit this kilt is the bees knees.
Lay this kilt out flat and look at the way it has been made and I will intently know this is the way a kilt should be made. I have had kilts from boyhood and I can say without a doubt that this kilt has been made by a craftsperson second to none. every belt loop is seamlessly stitched in such a way as to follow the tartan perfectly. Good deep pleats. The material is first class. I had mine stitched to the stripe ( the yellow stripe ) this would stick out a mile if not perfectly performed and believe me it is perfection. Very Very impressed as was my brother who had his pleating ‘to sett’ also from this site. Our mother was a scottish seamstress in her younger days and she was impressed too !! and thats saying something.

Kilt thoroughly well-made and a perfect fit. A good , solid piece of cloth - should last for years. Flashes could be better finished on cut edges.
